Superheroes in Training

Superheroes in Training is a class geared toward teaching 10 – 16 year olds the proper way to work out with the hopes of starting a lifelong passion in being fit and avoiding injuries. There will be no weights involved, mostly body weight exercises and resistance bands. Whether you’re a young athlete or just an adult wanting to get your kids moving right; this is the perfect approach.
Dates: Mondays & Wednesday (4 weeks) September 10th-October 3rd 3:15-4:15pm
Prices: $99 for Members & $125 for Non-Members

Commit to Be Fit

Are you looking for a higher level of training than you find in most exercise classes?  Do you want more individualized attention without sacrificing the camaraderie you find in group workout?  Commit to Be Fit is a small group training program designed with differing levels in mind. In this class you’ll learn how to improve movement mechanics as well as challenge each other to push yourselves through various up-tempo full-body workouts in a friendly and encouraging environment. You will receive accountability, motivation, support experience and expert guidance to reach your fitness goals!
Dates: Tuesdays & Thursdays September 11th-November 1st (8 weeks) 7am-8am
Prices: $180 members, $230 non-members

Description: Come and condition yourself to defend against and overcome your No.1 adversary: Parkinson’s Disease. Train for optimal agility, speed, muscular endurance, accuracy, balance, hand-eye coordination, and footwork . This program has shown that forced, intense exercise can reduce, reverse and delay Parkinson’s Symptoms. 
Dates: Tueesdays & Thursdays 10-11:30am September 11th-November 1st
Prices: In an effort to allow everyone to participate, we offer this program at a reduced cost as a community benefit.
$60 member, $75 non-member (extra $50 for gloves, gels, & participant tee-shirt: not necessary purchase can bring own equipment)

PWR! Moves for Parksinson’s disease
Description: PWR!Moves is a PD-specific skill training program to maintain or restore skills that deteriorate and interfere with everyday movements. Dr. Farley created PWR!Moves® as the EVOLUTION of her original LSVT BIG® exercise program.  The BASIC4 | PWR!Moves® offer a flexible and functional amplitude-focused exercise approach that targets multiple symptoms, and that allows for adaptation for disease severity. 
Dates: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 12-1 PM from September 10 – October 5
Prices: In an effort to allow everyone to participate, we offer this program at a reduced cost as a community benefit. $55 members, $75 non-members.

Pedaling for Parkinson’s
Description: Indoor group cycle class focused on delaying the effects of Parkinson’s using heart rate monitors. Cycling in high heart rates has proven to make regions of the brain that deal with movement connect to each other more effectively.
Dates: Mondays & Wednesdays 9 – 10 AM from September 10 – October 31 
Prices: In an effort to allow everyone to participate, we offer this program at a reduced cost as a community benefit. Member: $75, Non-member: $90.

Les Mills Bodyflow Training

Details: Ideal for anyone and everyone, BODYFLOW® is the yoga-based class that will improve your mind, your body and your life. During BODYFLOW an inspired soundtrack plays as you bend and stretch through a series of simple yoga moves and embrace elements of Tai Chi and Pilates. Breathing control is a part of all the exercises, and instructors will always provide options for those just getting started. You’ll strengthen your entire body and leave the class feeling calm and centered. Happy. BODYFLOW is available as either a 55, 45 or 30-minute workout.
