Support Parkinson’s programs on #GivingTuesday

Giving Tuesday, often stylized #GivingTuesday, has quickly become an international day of activism and charitable giving. Rather than putting the focus on shopping and bargain hunting to start the Holiday season, #GivingTuesday is a movement to shift this time of year more toward helping others.

Our Parkinson’s programs exist specifically to help those affected by Parkinson’s disease. Programs including Rock Steady Boxing, PWR! Moves and Cycling for Parkinson’s have helped those diagnosed with Parkinson’s by giving them better mobility, increased strength, fewer tremors and an overall reduction of symptoms. Private contributions from individuals and businesses, including Senior Helpers, has allowed us to provide these programs at or below cost.

But we still need your help.

The demand for Parkinson’s programs continues to grow here at The Miller Center. More and more people are diagnosed in our region and to provide additional services, we need more equipment and manpower. This is where you can make a difference.

Click HERE to make your gift to our Parkinson’s programs. Your donation will help those affected by Parkinson’s disease, and their families, be able to take part in classes, workshops and free support groups. Your donation is tax deductible as we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Below is a guide to help you make the gift that you feel is most appropriate. While we are deeply grateful for any and all support, we hope you’ll find these guidelines helpful.

After you make your gift, don’t forget to share your experience on social media using the hashtags #Punchback and #GivingTuesday.

Thank you for your support and a very Happy Holiday season to you and yours from The Miller Center.
